Phases of Care.

1

Pain Relief

The first step in chiropractic care is decreasing the pain level that you have. If you come into our office with pain, we want to eliminate that as fast as possible to get you back to living life pain free. This usually takes a higher frequency, as our bodies have muscle memory that may try to pull us back into the positions actually causing us pain. During this time period, it is normal to see you in our office 2-3 times a week for 4-12 weeks. Everybody is different, so some may respond quicker or slower than others. In our office we do not tie you to a care plan but rather take it visit by visit to see how you are progressing and recommend treatment frequency as we see fit.

2

Corrective Care

Once out of pain, we will work to correct underlying issues and misalignments that cascaded into the pain to begin with. This phase of care acts to restore misalignments and muscles/ligaments associated to allow the body to heal more completely as a whole. This phase of care will usually recommend seeing a patient 4-8 times a month for 4-8 weeks.

3

Maintenance Care

Now that you are well, we want to keep it that way. Once we have achieved total healing, it is important to keep our body tuned up to avoid issues recurring in the future. This is where we want each patient to get to, and it is recommended that this patient comes in 1-4 times a month based on lifestyle and goals going forward.
